I'll add my story… Author's. Print with source.
My first Lotto-Zabava ticket... it was somewhere in the 90s. I lived in a residential area, and the only grocery store, where were the tickets sold?, was 500–600 meters from the house. As I remember, tickets could be purchased until the end of Friday or until Saturday morning.
I was still little, but I already understood, that you need money - well, at least for delicious food. I didn't have any money, but I asked my mother 5 hryvnia. "We'll win, I want to play", - I said, full of excitement and hope.
But when I went on Saturday afternoon, the point was already closed, and new tickets, Seems, they no longer printed for the Sunday circulation. Upset, I walked home through the cloudy spring yard... and never played that first time.
Time has passed - almost 20 years. But this little failure remains in my memory, like the first taste of real anticipation and excitement.
